June Podcast Review

June has been quiet an adventure for me. My blog has been growing, I’ve had soooo much positive feedback from all over and I’m finally on holiday. As I mentioned in my very first blog post (Nice to finally meet you!), I work full time as a grade 3 teacher, and June means time for marking assessments and creating report cards. In other words, I spent countless hours at my desk, which is a perfect opportunity for me to listen to my favorite podcasts!

I got some of the best suggestions from you guys about which podcast I should try next, a lot of these podcasts required some serious concentration which was kind of difficult this month because my focus on my work was priority number 1. So I needed an easy-listening podcast that I could kind of zone in and out of, which lead me to…..drum roll please……… Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe!

First of all, if you are a Bachelor or Bachelorette fan you probably loved Kaitlyn Bristowe as much as I did. She is so dang funny and so relatable that when I listen to her podcast it’s like hanging out with one of your own friends and talking about silly everyday things. This is sort of what her podcast is all about, talking about just about anything (licking bowling balls to psychic mediums) , answering a lot of your Bachelor questions, giving some real girlfriend advice and getting some huge Hollywood names on and talking about anything you can think of! Kaitlyn and whoever is on the show with her always confess something that they have done which is always so funny and so real!

Kaitlyn is extremely witty, has a sharp tongue and says what everyone else is thinking in the funniest way possible. If you need some easy listening and just want to have a good laugh, this podcast is for you! Did I mention, she has such a good radio voice?! I got a few suggestions from people about different podcasts to listen to, and honestly I struggled to get through some of the episodes because of monotonic voices that I just can’t connect with.

Some of my favorite episodes are:

  • Grape Therapy: The Kaitlyn-Rachel-JoJo Joint wedding with Bri Cook
  • Grape Therapy: Who Let the Dogs Out? Ft. Bri Cook
  • Canaan Smith
  • Grape Therapy: The Lo Down
  • Tyler Henry Hollywood Medium

I’ve had a couple of people ask which podcast App I use or could recommend. I love the Podbean app because it’s so easy to use, it’s completely free, you can download podcasts and best of all you can search old podcasts which I know a lot of apps don’t allow you to do.

Thank you so much for reading and please let me know what you think I should listen to next! Have a great weekend! x
